Lineup:
Disco of Doom http://www.myspace.com/discoofdoom
Disco of Doom was formed from the partnership of Tom Real and The Rogue Element. Regulars will recognise Tom as someone who has rocked our parties a number of times and he is one of our most popular DJs. Their monthly radio show on Samurai FM has a global reach and has enabled them to gain a huge amount of popularity in a short space of time. They have headlined most of the major European festivals this summer and are at home rocking 300 capacity underground venues as well as superclubs like Fabric and Matter. Their first release was in 2008 and was supported by the likes of Etiennce de Crecy, Alex Metric and Meat Katie. Fast forward to 2009 and they are remixing Etienne de Crecy, Si Begg and Foamo. Their DJ partnership is incredible and we are so excited to host them in October….
Neurodriver http://www.myspace.com/neurodriveruk
Neurodriver aka Dom Smart is no stranger to the dance music business, having already made a name for himself DJing internationally and producing music as one half of UK breaks/electro outfit Far Too Loud. The Neurodriver project represents a conscious move back toward the underground, fusing elements of techno, breakbeat and psychedelia to form a new breed of heady funk suited to big rigs and dark rooms. The first Neurodriver EP, featuring the tracks Sidewinder and Robofunk will be touching down on Broken Robot Recordings in September 2009, and a collaborative track with dub legend Gaudi entitled “No More Blood” will feature on Gaudi’s forthcoming album “No Prisoners” out on Six Degree Records in October. Having hosted Dom so many times as Far Too Loud, we really feel like he is “coming home”…..
Dan Perrin (minimal, house, tech)
A completely new booking for us. We always dreamed, but never dared to book an out and out minimal house/techno DJ, but then we just did. Our London rave crew has seen this guy play out a number of times, crafting impossibly wonky sets to delighted clubbers in sweaty rave dens around the capital.
Delivering imaginative, genre hopping, house centric sets in a loopy, technology driven style; Dan Perrin has become a very familiar name to London clubbers over the past couple of years. Regularly rocking the dancefloors of our biggest clubs – EGG, SOSHO, MINISTRY, CENTRO, SCALA etc…Dan holds residencies for a select handful of the cities best known parties, playing alongside some of the biggest names in the scene (Matthias Tanzmann, Sebastian Leger, Eric Prydz, Mark Broom to name but a few) Dan is fast building a formidable reputation for deep, groovy electronic journeys which delve far into the outer boundaries of house and tech.
